結構過去完成時的基本結構是：“had + 動詞的過去分詞”。例如：

實質過去完成時表示在過去了的'某個時間或動作之前所發生的動作，其實質就是“過去的過去”。例如：
When the teacher came into the classroom， Liu Hong had gone home. 當老師走進教室時，劉紅已經回家了。(“回家”發生在過去的動作“走進”之前)搭檔1. “介詞by +含一般過去時態的句子”。介詞by 本身表示“在……之前;到……為止”。例如：

2. “時間狀語從句”。例如：
When my mother got home， I had already done 10 maths problems. 當媽媽到家時，我已經做了十道數學題。
