第一篇：Clever Bobby聰明的博比
Brown was very proud of his young son. Once he was talking to a visitor, telling the man how clever his son was.
布朗非常欣賞他的小兒子。一次他和一位客人聊他的兒子有多聰明。
"The boy is only two years old," he said, "and knows all animals. He's going to be a great naturalist. Here, let me show you."
布朗說：“他只有兩歲，就認識所有的動物了。他長大一定會是一個出色的自然學家。來，我讓你看看。”
He took a book of natural history from the bookshelf, placed Bobby on his knee, opened the book and showed him a picture of a giraffe.
他從書架上拿下一本自然書，把博比抱到膝上，開啟書。指著一張長頸鹿的畫片。
"What's that, Bobby?"
“博比，這是什麼?”
"Horsey, "said Bobby. Next of a tiger was shown, and Bobby said, "Pussy." Then Brown showed Bobby a picture of lion, and Bobby said, "Doggy." And when a picture of a chimpanzee was shown, Bobby said, "Daddy!"

第二篇：New Dad初為人父
One day, shortly after the birth of their new baby, the mother had to go out to do some errands, so the proud father stayed home to watch his wonderful new son.
孩子剛出生不久後的'一天，當媽的要出去辦點事，所以把照看孩子的光榮任務交給了那位新爸爸。
Soon after the mother left, the baby started to cry. The father did everything he could think of, but the baby just wouldn't stop crying. Finally, the dad got so worried he decided to take the infant to the doctor.
可是，媽媽剛出去一會，孩子就開始哭了。那位新爸爸使盡了渾身解數，但就是沒法讓孩子不哭。最後，孩子爸爸有點擔心了，決定抱著孩子去找醫生看看。
After the doctor listened to all the father had done to get the baby to stop crying, the doctor began to examine the baby's ears, chest and then down to the diaper area. When he opened the diaper, he found was indeed full.
醫生聽新爸爸說完事情的經過，開始給孩子作檢查，先是檢查孩子的耳朵，然後是胸部，最後檢查到系尿布的地方。當醫生開啟尿布時，他發現尿布裡面已經裝得滿滿當當的。
"Here's the problem," the doctor explained. "He just needs to be changed."
“問題就在這裡了”，醫生解釋說。“你其實給孩子換個尿布他就不會哭了。”
The perplexed father remarked, "But the diaper package specifically says it's good for up to 10 pounds!"
新爸爸一臉困惑地說，“但是尿布上的包裝特別顯眼地寫著‘適用至10磅’啊!”
第三篇：狗狗Clifford之第一個情人節
1. Valentine's Day is coming. I am making valentine cards for Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa.
情人節馬上就要來了。我正在給爸爸、媽媽、爺爺、奶奶做情人節賀卡。
2. Clifford wants to help. I give him some paper. He has his own way of cutting out hearts.
Clifford也想來幫忙。我給了他一些卡紙。這小傢伙有自己的方法來裁剪出愛心呢!
3. Clifford likes the smell of the paste. He thinks it would be good to eat. He is wrong. I have to wash out his mouth.

4. After I clean up my sticky red puppy, we finish the valentines.
Clifford likes the special card I make for grandma.

5. Mom and I go to the post office to mail the cards. Oh-oh. Clifford falls into the dark hole...

6. The worker doesn't see Clifford. He takes the letter cart away.
可是工作人員沒有看到他在裡面。他把送信的車給開走了。
7. Mom and I run into the room. We look everywhere, but we can't find him. Suddenly we hear a sound.
我和媽媽不知道出了什麼事，還走進房間四處張望，但就是找不到Clifford。突然我們聽到了什麼聲音。
8. There he is! Clifford is glad to see us. And we are glad to have him back!
他在這呢!Clifford再次看到我們很高興。看到他回來我們也很高興呢!
