2) 自我介紹的主體內容 ①姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要準(南方考生要多加註意)。 ②年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名後帶過(I am XXX, 25 years old)。 ③原來的院校、專業。注意：一定要把原來學校的英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業的學生)。所屬的公司、職位。注意：在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。 ④性格、能力。可以著重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的作用。如果報考的是學術性的專業，可以說自己細心(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等;如果是研究性、應用性更強一點的專業，可以說自己負責(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。 其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容詞有：active, aggressive(有進取心的), adaptable, amicable(友好的), analytical(善於分析的), cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主見的), innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一絲不苟的), temperate等等。 在職考生或有過工作經驗的考生還可以強調一下你的工作成績，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation. ⑤愛好。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. 除了強調你的學習的重視，同時也要避免給考官一種“書呆子”的感覺。一般可以從體育、音樂、電影等方面來說，同時要簡單說明這些愛好對你的積極意義(build my body, relax myself, open my mind„);注意避擴音到那些可能引起考官反感的愛好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。 ⑥你對報考的專業有興趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obsessed with„)，可適當舉出一些例子，如經常看相關的書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強調知識教育對工作的影響： In my work, I find it necessary to broaden my horizons in communication.
