1、吃火雞

2、蔓越桔競賽
在感恩節那一天，有些人還會舉行一些遊戲活動，其中最出名的就是這蔓越桔競賽。這個遊戲很簡單，就是把一個裝有蔓越桔的大碗放在地上，然後一群人開始圍坐在碗的周邊，然後再給每個人發一根線，等待比賽的開始。在比賽過程裡面，他們會先穿針線，然後把蔓越桔一個個串起來，當然一般會用時間去限制，等時間結束時，誰的針串得最長，那麼誰就是獲勝者，並給予一定的獎勵。
3、郊遊
在美國，感恩節不是坐在家裡團聚就好的，有些人會開車出去遊玩，或者乾脆出國旅行，其實感恩節就是一個玩樂的日子，大家都會在這一天徹底放鬆，因為是全國性節日，因此假期還是有的，大家可以趁機出去玩樂放鬆一下。
