關於英文簡歷模板的格式，可參照以下步驟：
首先，是基本個人資訊。英文簡歷在開頭要寫清楚自己的姓名(name)，地址(address)，聯絡方式(phone&email add)等等的基本資訊。
接下來，要寫明求職意向(objective)。絕大多數情況下，寫明求職意向能夠讓招聘公司更快了解求職者的目標職位。例如：

a sales management or business development position where my strategic and consultative selling, business management, and organizational insight will be continually challenged.(銷售經理職位或者和企業發展有關的職位，可以使我的戰略頭腦、銷售能力、商務管理能力和組織能力都能夠進一步的發揮和進步。)
下面要寫的是個人簡介(summary)。可以簡要的介紹自己，以及自身的特長和能力。但是切忌誇張和誇大，適當的自我讚美是允許的`。
再接著要寫教育背景(education)。一般來說，教育背景從大學時段開始寫起，學校(college)，專業(major)，所獲得的學位(degree)，畢業時間(graduate time)等資訊是必須的。除此以外，如果還有較為重大或特殊的榮譽或獎項(honor&award)也可以適當列出。
工作經歷(experience)的寫作是根據求職者個人情況而定的。但是，如果工作經驗很多，只需要列舉與求職目標相關的即可，不必完全列舉出所有。格式可以參考下方：
