1、Don't copy the question for your introduction. You should paraphrase the question(i.e. rewrite it using some different words).
不要把問題照搬照抄放在你的引言當中，要用不同的單詞重新把問題改寫一遍。
2、Don't forget to separate your paragraphs clearly.
別忘了清晰地分開每一個段落。
3、Don't forget to write a good summary/overview of the information. A quick one-sentence conclusion is not good enough. I prefer to put the overview straight after theintroduction, and I try to write 2 sentences describing the information in general. Youwon't get a high score if you don't write a good overview.
不要忘了將所得的資訊很好地總結/概述一次。一句話的結論並不夠好，一般來說，我更傾向於把概述後直接放在引言後面，並用兩句話來描述資訊。如果沒有一個好的概述，就不會得到一個好的分數。
4、Don't describe items separately . You should always try to compare things if it ispossible to do so. Instead of describing 2 lines separately, compare the 2 lines at keypoints.
不要單獨地描述一個點，如果有可能的話，嘗試去做一些對比。同樣是兩個句子，將它們的關鍵點進行比較說明，好過單獨地進行描述。
5、Don't try to describe every number on a chart or graph (unless there are only afew numbers). A key skill in task 1 is being able to choose the key information anddescribe or compare it well. I usually mention around 6 or 7 numbers in my mainparagraphs.
不要用圖表或圖形來描述每一個數字(除非只有幾個數字)。在task 1中，有一個關鍵的技巧就是，選擇關鍵的資訊，並很好地去描述它或者進行對比。我通常都會在一個主要段落中，提及6~7個數字。
6、Don't spend longer than 20 minutes on task 1. Practise spending 5 minutes oneach of your 4 paragraphs. Stop yourself after 20 minutes; remember that task 2 isworth more marks.
Task 1 所花的答題時間不該超過20分鐘，好好練習如何花5分鐘的時間在每一個段落上，一共4個段落，則一共不超過20分鐘，一到時間就停止做題。記住task 2能拿的分數更高。
7、It is better to write in regular, not very sophisticated English, than to use phrasesor structures you don’t fully understand.
比起用一些你自己都不是完全理解的短語和結構，不如用一些不是很複雜的、比較日常的英語。
8、If you need Band 6 - no need for complex sentence structure. If your goal is Band7 - then show advanced sentence structure, language and vocabulary.
如果你的目標使6分，那就用一些不是很複雜的句子結構，但如果你想哪7分，那就用一些高階的句子結構、語言和詞彙。
9、Don’t write more than 260-265 words in IELTS Writing 2 task. Why? Not becauseyou will get lower mark, but because of these 2 reasons:1) It takes more time2) Morewords = more mistakes
在雅思task 2 寫作中，寫作字數不要超過260-265個字。為什麼?因為你寫作分數低的原因不外乎以下兩個：1)花更多的時間(時間不夠用)2)字數越多，錯誤越多
10、If you are told to cover specific points in your essay/letter - cover every point,examiners actually count them.
如果文章要求你在文章中要具體地包含某些點，那就一一例舉出來，因為考官會去數。
11、Don’t overuse connecting words (like However, Furthermore, Moreover, etc) -examiners are watching for you to do that.
不要過多使用連線詞(例如，但是，此外，等)，考官就等看著你這麼做，然後扣分!
