一年一度的國慶節到來，國慶節節是舉國歡慶的好日子。
國慶節假期時間
2017年10月1日至10月8日放假，共8天。與中秋節連休。
10月1日(星期日)、10月2日(星期一)、10月3日(星期二)為國慶節法定節假日
9月30日(星期六)上班。10月9號(星期日)正常上班
國慶節有關稱呼
國慶節是每個國家的重要節日，但名稱有所不同。許多國家叫“國慶節”或“國慶日”，還有一些國家叫“獨立日”或“獨立節”，也有的叫“共和日”、 “共和國日”、“革命日”、“解放日”、“國家復興節”、“憲法日”等，還有直接以國名加上“日”的，如“澳大利亞日”、“巴基斯坦日”，有的則以國王的`生日或登基日為國慶日，如遇國王更替，國慶的具體日期也隨之更換。
每逢國慶日，各國都要舉行不同形式的慶祝活動，以加強本國人民的愛國意識，增強國家的凝聚力。各國之間也都要相互表示祝賀。逢五逢十的國慶日，有的還要擴大慶祝規模。為慶祝國慶日，各國政府通常要舉行一次國慶招待會，由國家元首、政府首腦或外交部長出面主持，邀請駐在當地的各國使節和其他重要外賓參加。但也有的國家不舉行招待會，如美國、英國均不舉行招待會。
