Interviewing is a skill that can be learned and the key lies in the three Ps of planning, practice and preparation. The chemistry between you and interviewer is important so project a positive attitude. Smile from time to time and ask intelligent questions. Maintain eye contact, use the interviewer’s name occasionally and try to establish a common ground.你和麵試官之間的“化學反應”很重要，所以一定要呈現一個積極的態度。一直保持微笑，問些機敏的問題，注意眼神交流，時不時稱呼一下面試官的名字，這樣可以拉近距離，並盡力建立雙方一致，相似共通的境地。
However despite all this good advice there may come a time in the interview when you are totally thrown by an unexpectedly difficult question.不過呢，面試也不會一直處在這種和諧的狀態下，會有那麼一會，你會被置於問題尖銳，氣氛緊張的環境中。
When this happens, don’t panic and start to babble nonsense. Ask the interviewer to explain what he or she means. Breathe out to relieve the tension and breathe in slowly.當這種情況發生的時候，不要慌張，也不要支支吾吾，無心作答。請面試官解釋一下他到底意在何方，想問什麼。然後深呼吸，緩解心中的緊張感。
Here are some seemingly innocent questions that often prove difficult:下面是一些看似簡單無意，事實暗藏殺機的問題：
Question:“Tell me about yourself”問：“講講你自己。”
This is an opportunity for you to talk about your personal characteristics and skills. Remember to remain relevant and to stress achievements that translate into strengths you would bring to the job這是一個稱述你個人特色和能力的大好時機。記住要始終和此工作相關，著重強調你以前的工作業績，並將它們巧妙轉化為你能為這家公司帶來的利益。
Question:“What books or magazines do you read?”問：“你平時都讀些什麼書或者雜誌？”
The books you read tell the interviewer something about your personality. Mentioning a relevant journal would be a good idea, saying you don’t like to read would be a bad idea!你讀的書和雜誌可以透露出你的個人特徵。被問到這個問題的時候，你可以講講你讀過的和行業相關的一些雜誌。如果你回答你不喜歡讀書看報……沒有人會聘用不愛讀書的人吧。
Question: “Why do you want to work for us?”問：“你為什麼想要為我們工作？”
This is an opportunity for you to show off all the research you have done into the company回答這個問題的'時候，你就可以把你搜索到的關於此公司的有用資訊都講述出來了。
Question: “Where do you plan to be in five years time?”問：“5年之後你計劃會在怎樣的職位上？”
Another opportunity to show you know the company structure. Many people answer “management” but there are other avenues of career advancement your research should have turned up; staff engineer, consultant etc又到了展示你對公司的深入瞭解的時候了。許多人會回答“管理層”，但是其實還有很多回答，這就看你之前做的準備工作怎麼樣了，公司也許也會需要工程師，顧問等等重要人才。
Question:“What are your strengths and weaknesses?”問：“你的強項和弱勢分別是什麼？”
Talk about relevant strengths for the job and irrelevant weaknesses. If you can, mention a personal weakness that could be seen as a professional strength; I’m a workaholic! (though avoid being seen as insincere)回答這個問題的重點是講述，和工作相關的優點，和工作無關的缺點。如果可以的話，你可以講一個個人角度的弱點，而在工作角度上看卻是優點，例如，我是一個工作狂！（注意不要在說這句話的時候讓人聽著假）
Question:“What were your favourite subjects in school and why?”問：“你在學校裡最喜歡的課程是什麼？為什麼？”
Mention anything that shows an interest in the employer’s kind of work. Bring up any interesting or unusual projects in that area你提及的課程，最好是和麵試工作相關的課程。提到一些該領域的有趣點和令人眼前一亮的專案。
Question: “What do you like to do in your spare time?"問：“你空餘時間喜歡幹什麼？”
It’s good to have strong outside interests and if they are pastimes that would be an asset to the job, so much the better有專門的愛好是很好的，如果這種消遣方式能給工作也帶來好處，就更好了。
