目前今年梅雨的一個顯著特徵是雨量非常的大，不像過去的毛毛細雨。
因此，“梅雨”就是“plum rain”，果真有“梅”這個字呢。除此之外，它還可以被解釋為：rainy spell in early summer，mouldrains 等。
說起黃梅雨季(Plum rain season)，最大的感受就是悶熱了。“悶熱”在英語中該怎麼表達？
1、muggy: a muggy August day(悶熱的八月天)
2、hot and stuffy:
這個用法是將“悶”和“熱”分開來說。“stuffy”表示“(房間等)通風不良的，悶人的”。比如說：a smoky, stuffy pub (煙霧瀰漫，空氣汙濁的酒館)
3、Sweltering:
