Interactive Activities in the Reading Classroom
Abstract

It is believed that reading is made boiring and impossible for students to improve their reading comprehension simple by the teaching model of “top-down” and “bottom-up”. Yet interactive teaching of reading is discovered to be effective for improving the teaching of reading and enhance students reading ability. This thesis is to discuss the management of teaching, the design and application of interactive activities in an interactive class by analyzing.
This paper starts with a brief introduction to present situation of college English reading, the significance of study, and literature review. Next the interactive approach is defined and explained. Then This article dwells on the models and principles of the interactive model of reading,the effect of teacher-student interaction, student-student interaction in students’ reading competence are developed. The study ends that interactive approach is beneficial to learners’ reading competence.

摘  要

閱讀實踐中反映出的純粹“自下而上”和“自上而下”的閱讀模式不僅使閱讀變得枯燥無味而且使得學生的閱讀能力沒有實質性的改變,經過對互動式閱讀模式的探討,發現運用互動式教學方法使閱讀教學不再是單調,平淡的情況有所改變,並能夠提升閱讀教學的質量,達到了學生和老師的之間較為理想的溝通程度。文章首先從互動教學的本質特徵,互動教學的目的和作用,互動的分類想出發,分析互動教學手段,教學活動設計和運用,發掘英語閱讀互動教學的意義,以及它的特點和要求。指出英語閱讀互動教學的合理性。並在其後舉出1些佐證來擴充互動式閱讀教學的意義所在。
本文著重探討了互動式教學方式對學習者閱讀能力提高的必要性和可行性,並提出通過教師與學生的互動,學生之間的互動的`形式來培養學習者瞭解材料背景的意識,擴大學習者的圖示知識,加深學習者對閱讀材料的理解,增加學習者的興趣,從而最終提高其閱讀能力的教學新嘗試。
