自主招生面試英語自我介紹
英語是各高校自主招生的必考科目，復旦大學的英語測試一般包括詞彙、閱讀理解、完型填空等題型，交大的英語測試一般包括詞彙與結構、閱讀理解、完型填空和英語作文等題型，其它一些高校的英語試卷還包括聽力、中英互譯、改錯等題型。各高校的英語測試，特別是復旦、交大、上外三校對考生詞彙量提出了較高的要求，其試卷要求學生詞彙量達到英語四、六級水平。
除了筆試以外，各高校的自主招生還包括面試，面試一般包括常規問題，常識性問題，時事熱點問題，專業相關問題和思想道德與價值觀問題。面試主要以中文進行，但是考官也會中途用英語與考生交談，對一些外語專業的高校，更要做好用英語參加面試的準備。
面試部分：適度包裝，誠信推銷自己
用英語參加面試，對部分考生說可能是第一次，考生要克服緊張情緒，要避免誇誇其談，要適度、誠信地為自己做宣傳，讓教授覺得自己是個“可塑之才”。
(一)準備必考問題
通過對往年面試題目的分析，對於一些必考問題，考生完全可以準備。比如準備一份英語的自我介紹，不用面面俱到，但要說出特點，講到重點，考生可以介紹對自己影響最深的人、事、物，最喜歡的書，最近在讀的一本書，高中生活的收穫與遺憾，個人生涯規劃等。考生在介紹自己優點的同時，應該誠懇地向考官介紹自己的缺點，考生誠信地推銷自己會給教授留下良好的印象。很多考生都是自己學校的佼佼者，會介紹自己得過多少獎項，建議考生在介紹自己得獎的同時，講講自己從對手身上學到什麼，考生謙虛好學的態度會讓教授覺得有潛力可挖掘。
很多考生都知道具體的事例比空洞的條條槓槓更容易被人記住，但是在介紹事例時應注意時態的變化，介紹自己的現狀時用一般現在時，介紹自己的過去經歷時用一般過去時，介紹自己過去經歷對現在人生觀的'影響時用現在完成時。除了介紹事例以外，陳述自己的觀點也是必不可少的，而陳述觀點時需注意語態的變化，當要婉轉表達自己觀點時，可以用被動語態“Itis thought”, “It is believed”,當要引述他人觀點時也可以用被動語態 “It is said”,“It isreported”。
(二)經歷模擬面試
考生在面試前可以把自己的介紹做個錄音，然後聽聽自己的聲音表現，一聽音準，二聽音調自然，三聽停頓恰當，四聽語速正常。有些考生會過度緊張，在面試時咬緊牙齒，導致發音失真。
考生在面試前也可以尋求老師或同學的幫助，做次模擬面試，請老師、同學為自己正音。考生在經歷模擬面試的時候，可以體驗面試的場景，緩解真實面試環境中緊張的情緒。在模擬面試的時候還要注意儀態、儀表的細節問題。比如傾聽模擬考官的提問，雙手遞交材料，說話時雙眼正視模擬考官等，如果在模擬面試時暴露出一些小毛病，可以請老師、同學為自己“整形”。
