A Study on English Majors’ English Listening Strategy Training
Abstract

   Listening strategy is one of the important parts of language learning strategy, which helps language learners to improve their listening. How to enhance the ability of using English listening strategy is what every English learner is concerned about. This thesis is intended to explore the effective impact of systematic Language Learning Strategy Training (LLST) on language learners’ English listening comprehension by using a questionnaire and TEM—4 papers. A Correlation Analysis was used to determine what strategies should be covered in the training. T-tests were used to investigate whether strategy training influences the participants’ English listening comprehension performances. The results show that better performances are achieved when systematic strategy training is incorporated into the teaching of English listening comprehension.

摘 要

    聽力策略是語言學習策略中的1個重要部分,這些策略可以幫助語言學習著提高聽力水平。怎樣提高聽力策略的使用能力,是每個英語學習者所關注的問題。本論文探究了系統的.聽力學習策略訓練與學習者成績的相關性。作者對兩組被試(SBI教學/非SBI教學)進行了英語聽力策略訓練。採用問卷調查及大學英語專業4級年聽力測試形式,運用相關分析法及T檢驗,得出了以下結論:系統化的聽力策略訓練對英語學習者的聽力成績存在著積極的影響。
