摘 要
在權力與愛情的強烈矛盾衝突中，宗教的影響和金錢的誘惑使他追求權力，人的本能欲求使他嚮往愛情，拉爾夫教士為了追求榮譽而放棄了愛情，最終導致肉體與靈魂在痛苦折磨中飽受煎熬。他面對宗教的壓制，在充滿悲劇的追求中依然堅持心中的`玫瑰，讓人感受到愛情的魅力，從而賦予了宗教下愛情悲劇美的內涵。同時也揭露和批判了宗教的黑暗、愚昧和非人性，尤其對人性的殘害。
