Comparison and Translation of Interjections between
Englishand Chinese
Abstract
Compared with language, interjections are very special, because when we use different interjections in a sentence the meanings of them are different, and when we use the same interjections in different occasions the meanings of them are also different. As a special kind of words, interjections are undoubtedly indispensable and worthwhile for us to illustrate their specialties. We can analyze and judge speakers’ mood and manner by the expressions they are talking. So it is very important for us to research English and Chinese interjections. Furthermore, we can learn interjections to research the mood, intonation, and manner of human language. This thesis takes up this seemingly neglected subject, compares the differences and similarities between English and Chinese interjections, and summarizes their translation methods and techniques. Besides, we research the different expression, mood, tone, pronunciation and meaning of interjections between English and Chinese by analyzing the different usage of interjections in different kinds of sentences from pragmatics, semantics and grammar. So people will know the importance of interjections both in oral language and literal language.

摘 要
和語言相比較，語氣的特殊性在於：同樣1句話，使用不同的語氣會產生截然不同的意思；同種語氣在不同的場合也會有不同的意義。勿庸質疑，語氣詞作為1種特殊的詞彙，對於我們闡明它的特別之處是很有必要，同時也是非常值得的。通過人們說話時的語氣，就能分析和判斷出說話人當時的心情、神態等。因此，研究英漢語氣詞對研究人類語言的`語氣、語調、神態等方面有重要的意義。本文著眼於這1看似被忽略的主題，通過比較英漢語氣詞的不同和相同之處，總結出英漢語氣詞的翻譯方法和技巧。此外，我們還從語用學，語義學，和語法的角度，通過分析不同的語氣詞在不同句子中的用法來研究英漢語氣詞在語言中表示的神態、語氣、語調、語音及其含義。從而使大家明白語氣詞在口語和書面語中的重要性。
